a reservation in the month ahead. they were shown and closed. was super beaten when I had my chef in the city for this and he had booked his trip especially around this Thursday evening dinner. had a great experience last time, so here the use of doubt. I hope everyone's okay and that the business isn't well closed. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Gyst Fermentations:
we loved gyst and were looking forward to a birthday party on the 1st, but they were closed when we arrived at 5 o'clock, as planned perhaps because of the continuing snowstorm that met the city at that time. we will try again View all feedback.
Wasn't quite sure what to expect because the idea behind the restaurant is unique. However, I was pleasantly surprised. We felt very welcomed, and our waiter was so helpful in educating us on not only the process of fermentation, but also what was included in each dish on the menu. We didn't have a chance to try any of the entrees, but the cheese board, chocolate board, and kombucha cocktails were great. I will be back to try more! The only thing important to know before going is that the restaurant is pretty small, so I would recommend making a reservation in advance.
We don't even have to go because they obviously canceled our reservation and going forward would only make events?
I booked a Mother’s Day brunch and the place was CLOSED!!!!!! Disappointed to say the least. No warning. Nothing...
Perfect for birthday. Light meal. The dessert. The miso panna cotta may be the most delicious dessert I've had in my whole life.
Great food, fun drinks and wonderful service! Unfortunately I do not have the name of our server. She was awesome!
