Another great place to work remotely. The vibe fits really well with the neighborhood and the barista was very friendly. Iced matcha latte I ordered was okay, not as good as I had at other places. I loved the lattes I tried at their other locations, so maybe this is just an exception. Overall it’s still great and I will be coming back. View all feedback.
What Olivia Spitz doesn't like about Five Watt Coffee Lyndale:
I have avoided writing a review for a long time because I used to live in the neighborhood and came here often always hoping for a better experience. I always had to brace myself for the blatant rudeness I was going to endure, often as my first interaction of the day. I let it go for a long time out of respect for the business but the last two times I came here it soured my entire day. They staff is SO RUDE. I worked... View all feedback.
Just an absolutely wonderful place. Immaculate coffee that's complex enough for the coffee enthusiasts and delicious enough for the rest of us. Great atmosphere and unbelievably pleasant staff. Pastries are top notch. My favorite place to work away from home.
Love Five Watt. Their locations are super consistently good!
Good service, interesting drinks. Fun place to hang out for a while.
Coffee had a great, rich flavor. The barista was kind and helpful to all who entered. The atmosphete hadba retro vibe perfect for a coffee shop.
This is my favorite coffee shop in Minneapolis. The baristas are super friendly (I usually go to the Lyndale location) and has a community feel. There are lots of regulars, and when I go, I feel at home. Great big windows in front, with both cozy chairs and tables. It makes it great to relax or get work done. With two different rooms to choose from. Has a very open feel. It’s also easy to park, and has several outdoor seating options. The only thing is one side of the outdoor options is a busy road and will see and hear traffic. (Lyndale)I also love the NE location which has a great feel, lots of window, but no outdoor seating. And a large parking lot.The Kingfield location is super cute, and smaller, with an open air inside/outside bar area. Some outdoor seating and is very eclectic.I can’t say enough good things! The coffee/matcha options are delicious and I am happy to drive to enjoy this place!Check it outVegetarian options: They have some pastries, that are vegetarian. Not sure if vegan options, I will need to check on that.Kid-friendliness: Yes, I have been bringing my kiddo since he was a baby!Parking: Lots of parking on the street (Lyndale)Tighter parking on street (Kingfield) and a free lot (NE)Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp to get in and out of the doors.Dietary restrictions: They offer alternative milk options for drinks.
