The restaurant excels during happy hour with great deals on wine and beer. Service is exceptional, atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the attention to detail is evident. The menu boasts delicious options, and the cocktails are creative and well-executed. With an enjoyable mix of classic and unique dishes, Fhima's provides a delightful culinary experience for a variety of occasions. The restaurant's historical location adds to its charm, making it a must-visit spot in the city.
It was a wonderful blend of mainstay menu items and special Valentine's Day items. Devin, our server, was both energetic and wellinformed of the menu items and how Fhima's does things. The cocktails, seasonal and yearround, were both heady and creative. The brussel sprouts were prepared in a manner different than most being not overcooked but bathed in balsamic. The rabbit stew with homemade gnocchi was by far the best course. Would have had three plates. The Waguyi tenderloin was very good, with the cocoa dust ans chocolate frosting. The boyfriend's steak was both wellmarinated and cooked well. The only average part of the meal was the dessert, with the creme brulee being somewhat cold and the deep into chocolate dessert being somewhat tame and lacking in sweetness. But a nice meal in a great spot
David Fhima and his team have once again exceeded our expectations with an absolutely fabulous dining experience! The ambiance of Fhima's Minneapolis is excellent including a very stylish centrally located bar. The mixologist bartenders have created some wonderful specialty cocktails and the tableside presentation is excellent. Our serving team was friendly and attentive. We felt like old friends welcomed back! David's Moroccan and Sicilian influences have once again come through with a number of original tastes that caused us to clean our plates! I was thrilled that the lamb tagine was once again on the menu and the flavors were even better than I remembered. Thank you for a memorable evening! We will be back again soon
Wonder dining experience. Great food, beautiful interior decor, even the background music was enjoyable. All senses are treated to an enhanced experience. Can't wait to return
We were at Fhima's a month ago and had a great experience so we decided to return. We were very disappointed with our second visit. The seafood tangine dish designed for two hardly had enough fish for one person. The service started out great but deteriorated throughout the evening and we had to wait about an half hour for dessert. We do not plan to return to Fhima's
Fhima is located in a historically beautiful Art Deco room fit for any special occasion or fine dining experience. I recommend the happy hour specials between for significant value in the small plates which allows sampling of multiple food items. My favorite was a delicious beet salad. Sean was our bartender and the manager for the evening. He obviously enjoys his career and goes the extra length to make a client’s experience memorable. Instead of moving to a table for our dinner, we opted to stay with Sean to enjoy our entrees. I recommend the lamb tagine. And the bread with sweethoney butter was irresistible! We plan to return soon with friends and family
