Food was absolutely fantastic, and the restaurant had such an authentic feel to it. My wife kept sharing different things about it that reminded her of being back in India. We felt bad because it was busy and they were short staffed today, but they were clearly trying their hardest, and that’s all you can ask for. Again, food was excellent, can’t wait to have it again! What Andrew Wiesman doesn't like about Curry Corner Indian Eatery:
Not great. Our Paneer Tikka Masala was a total miss. It had no masala and tasted like Americanized tomato soup. It had bell peppers in it and was just way off from a typical tikka masala. No spice whatsoever despite ordering extra hot. The Chicken Korma had nice flavor but was weak to the point that it gets lost if you put it over rice. Samosas and gobi manchurian were good but not enough to make up for the bland and... View all feedback.
Delicious Indian food. Good service. Reasonable prices. Lots of vegetarian and meat options.
I stopped in for lunch. I was super impressed by the service; the bartender was friendly, funny, and let me know that if I like my food good and spicy, I should order the very very hot. Like an idiot, I ordered my shahi paneer very hot, and thought wow, he was right, I would have preferred the very very hot. Not that shahi paneer is usually all that spicy, but this was mild even for shahi paneer, haha. I definitely recommend that spice fans go for the 5/very very hot spice level; they run very mild. But the food was otherwise extremely good; it had that creamy, yogurty taste that a really good shahi paneer should have, with a great depth of flavor. Only complaint: the acoustics of the building mean that if someone is talking loudly over the music, it gets a little too loud. I really enjoyed the music, not so much the conversation from the other side of the restaurant. Great lunch spot, though, wish I hadn 't forgotten my extra naan there!
Great addition to the neighborhood. We’ve only ever ordered take out but it’s always spot on. I appreciate the price point as well. Would recommend!
I just moved to the neighborhood a few weeks ago and I've already been here twice. The food is delicious (I've tried the garlic naan, paneer chili, chicken tikka masala, and the tandoori chicken), the staff is friendly, and there a ton of options on the menu. This will definitely be my new go to spot for Indian food in the Twin Cities.
We were going here at the invitation of our daughter, so I checked out the reviews. I thought no way can anyplace get that many 5-star reviews. Then, we went there. If I could give them 7, I would. The food was amazing, flavorful, and robust. Service was excellent, and the waiter was kind. This place is the real deal. Good work, Curry Corner. I 'm a fan
