Chanticlear Pizza - Minneapolis

I ordered a pizza and it was burnt and cold Plus I had a beer and I went to take the last swig of it, and it had a fly in it. I told the waiter and he said it wasn't in there when I gave it to you, as if I pulled it out of the air and put it in there. GROSS I might as well ate my pizza on the floor.

I only eat at this restaurant when I want to sit outside. They have a nice covered patio on a quiet street. Other than that, this restaurant is pretty average. The bar and drinks are average, as well as the food and service. It gets pretty hectic during bingo nights. I do enjoy the Bang Bang Shrimp and the meatballs are huge.

I recently visited Chanticlear and tried their gluten-free pizza, and one word: delicious! Despite hearing that gluten-free crusts can be like cardboard, I decided to add a splash of asiago-garlic. The crust was definitely more crispy and crunchy than a regular crust, but it was absolutely delicious. I have never had a bad meal at Chanticlear, and they also have a lovely patio to enjoy your food on.

I called to place an order and the guy on the phone was inebriated or something. After trying to say I wanted to order for pickup 3 times I finally just gave up and hung up the phone. It wasn't a connection issue or anything like that because he could understand everything else that I was saying. Guy must be high, gonna have to go to the Andover location from now on.

Their pizza was super good! We ordered a pep with green peppers extra pizza sauce. The waitress was awesome too! Their chips queso were pretty good, but tad spendiar than I thought they'd be.
