went in on Labour day and only one person working at the front (taking orders and making drinks) and another as the server. wait was not too bad, and we waited a while for our food. the waffles were pretty decent, but i found the whipped cream and sugar waytoo sweet. would want to try a savoury option next time. What Brieana F doesn't like about Black Coffee And Waffle:
Really beautiful waffles 3.5 They make art with these waffles but the price doesn’t make me wanna return. Vegan gluten free waffle option for additional $2 charge on top of the $10 waffle that you won’t be able to have all the toppings on they don’t have vegan whip or butter. $1 up charge for plant milk on drinks as well. They do have a build your own waffle option, but base price is $7 $2 for vegan/gluten free) and... View all feedback.
The personal was worth knowing about what could be made vegan. the waffles were fluffy, had a full of beats and tasted great. nothing overly chic, but there was what I wanted and I was happy with my experience. they don't have a huge vegan menu, but the waffel I got was satisfying. I would go back if I had believed waffel. updated by previous review on 2022-03-31
We were able to have a yummy waffle breakfast here despite me being vegan and my friend not! I had the “naughty waffle” topped with almond butter, bananas, strawberries, and granola! The portions are large and the food is very good. Definitely recommend to anyone with a waffle craving!
The staff said any waffle could be made vegan except that wasn’t true at all because the only vegan things are the vegan/gf waffle and the fruit and syrup Peanut butter and spices. The waffle was gooey and flavorless. The orange juice was a nasty small bottle of what I would compare to sunny D; in other words acidic. It was so hot in the restaurant. All around a bad experience.
Yummy coffee with plant milk options for lattes, they make a lot of their syrups in house so the staff is aware of what does and doesn’t have dairy. They have a vegan waffle batter and lots of toppings, I like the fat Andrew (peanut butter banana and cinnamon). It’s on the pricier side but yummy.
I love wagging and chasing a wad. so decided to try this place. Sad... it didn't hit the spot. they do not offer vegan whip. or even vegan butter, if u just want ground waffle with butter and syrup..so I had only strawberries bananen and syrup. the waffel itself lacked in taste. very bland. but it looked pretty. it looked much better than it tasted. updated by previous review on 2021-12-22
