The team at 801 Chophouse in Minneapolis is outstanding! The food is unbeatable. If you're in search of a special dining experience, Minh and her staff will exceed your expectations!

This restaurant has a lovely decor and a friendly staff. Our server, Sierra, was very personable and well-versed in the menu. My dining companion ordered the scallops from the specials, which she thoroughly enjoyed. I chose the ahi tuna from the same menu; however, our server was unfamiliar with the preparation since it was new. When my entree arrived, it looked quite rare, which was fine, but it was also refrigerator cold. They kindly took it back to sear it, making it warm, but unfortunately, that resulted in overcooked fish. Overall, the preparation was a bit disappointing, and I expected better. While you might assume that a steak should be the go-to at a steakhouse, we were told that their seafood is also excellently prepared. I would be willing to give this place another shot, specifically for a steak experience.

This place and its food is absolutely amazing. The service is top notch and if you're going to spend money on a top-notch meal, I would recommend this over any other place in the Minneapolis area.
