I arrived at the restaurant after spending time at the brewery with only 30 minutes until closing. My friend and I ordered tacos, a tostada, and tea to warm up from the -10 degree weather. The food was delicious! View all feedback.
What Tami N doesn't like about Salsa A La Salsa:
My friends and I decided to try out this restaurant during Pride weekend. Despite being busy, it was not too crowded inside. Upon first impression, the restaurant appeared spacious. View all feedback.
I am so grateful for Kedar because if it wasn't for him, I would have missed out on this restaurant located within the Global Market building. The guacamole was fresh and perfect, made simply with avocados, seasoning, and cilantro just the way I like it. I appreciate that they didn't add any additives to it. Although the $7 price for a small portion was a bit surprising, the free chips, pico de gallo, and mild green salsa made up for it. I ended up making nachos with my salsa diabla, soy chorizo, guac, and salad from my flauta plate, and it was just perfect. The soy chorizo and jackfruit tinga tacos were good but not amazing. However, when I spilled the fillings on the tortilla chips with the diabela salsa and guac, it was a flavor explosion. The flautas de papa were delicious and I will definitely be ordering them again. Everything tasted fresh and the employees were very nice. Just an FYI, their rice is made with chicken stock so it's not suitable for vegans. Thanks again to my vegan friend Kedar for another amazing recommendation - he never disappoints me.
The restaurant is renowned for their expertise in creating delicious vegan dishes that are sure to impress. Don't miss out on this amazing dining experience.
The Diablo chicken is mouthwatering, and so are the pico de gallo and Verde sauce. However, I do miss the old restaurant.
I have to be honest. As a Mexican American who was raised on authentic Mexican cuisine, I was not expecting much from Mexican food in Minnesota. But I was blown away by how good the food at this restaurant was. It surpassed my expectations and I would even say it's better than some of my favorite spots back in college in California.
The food at this restaurant is fresh and expertly prepared. We made an excellent choice by ordering the beef cubes and nachos with perfectly cooked roasted meat.
