Tried this place several times. Over $2 for a can of coke. Advertised arcade had no games. Food served cold, then brought back burnt. Nothing special or homemade. Just frozen food you can get anywhere. The atmosphere is neat, lots to look at. Try it for the hand dipped milkshakes, but there are better places to eat...... even in Mingus View all feedback.

The experience was very enjoyable. Mel makes you feel like part of the family. The food is delicious! I had the Philly cheesesteak and onion rings. My son had a Welsh sandwich and even ordered a second one. All the staff stopped by to greet us. They might soon have a coffee bar. Mel also mentioned hosting events. It was a fantastic afternoon. What a fantastic restaurant!
The food was excellent and the service was outstanding! The grilled shrimp with fries by the bay were delicious. The chicken fried steak was also very good. The kids really enjoyed the milkshakes! Overall, a lovely little diner.

Great food, fantastic servers, and a really quirky atmosphere for a diner in a little podunk Texas town.Philly Cheesesteak ??DEFINITELY save room for a handspun milkshake made with REAL ice cream.
