Mill Pond Restaurant - Minden

Popped by with the family on a lark when we saw all the cars parked out front. Small wonder - this place is a little gem in cottage country. Good food in very generous portions served with a smile. Save room for dessert - the home made pie was excellent!

My husband loves his turkey dinner so when he saw that the Sunday night feature at the Millpond was a traditional turkey dinner, we had to go. We had been touring the local area and wound up getting to the Millpond at about 4:00. Unfortunately the turkey dinner was not available until 5:00. We decided to wait and started off with a terrific appetizer of crispy shrimps and a couple of beers.Closer to 5:00, signs were placed on a lot of the tables to reserve them. We were lucky to have arrived early.The turkey was very good, a big serving of your choice of white or dark meat, mashed potatoes, dressing, and corn. We both enjoyed it. The prices were very reasonable as well.The lady who took care of us was very friendly too.

The food is pretty decent, at a fair cost, but the place could use a good renovation. Primarily a breakfast and lunch place.

We take our kids here when ever we are up at the cottage. It has good sized portions and great sweet potato fries. If you sit in the back screened in porch you have a nice view of the pond out back. Has a very casual atmosphere.

Stopped in for a breakfast and had a delicious meal at a great price. Food was prepared well and large portions.
