Fleur Deli - Minden

Some friends brought me here when I moved to Minden a few years ago. They ordered the Freaky J and suggested to do the same. It's the best kick in MINDEN! It is a grilled or fried chicken breast with bacon, salad, tomatoes and a special sauce on a jalapeno cheese bunker. Skip the chicken chains and come here for the best chicken sandwich. They won't be disappointed. You also have Cajun food that is popular. You can get the Cajun articles pretty fast, but everything else is freshly made to order. It is located in a very nice convenience store, so it is a single stop Valero Gas, Lunch, Potty Stop. I tried different menu items and everything was always top notch. I'll be back.

We love the Fluer Deli! It's in a station in Valero, so don't be confused. The phone number also rings the Valero. The people who work here are so nice and helpful! The rubber train is our favorite. Call after your order and tell them you're going through, and they can cool off the rubber bag to make it better. We love to stop and take half a gallon meat, rice and bread to take home. My husband knows he's better coming home with Fluer Deli when he works in Minden! The bathrooms are also super clean!

Omg the food here is great. This is a joint venture with a convenience store and restaurant. You can eat at tables or escape. Hot and fresh, tastes great, extremely friendly staff. We have the gumbo, the cancer puss and my daughter has a sandwich. The sandwich was from the cooler area. They made it fresh. You have Mayo and Mustard packages that you can grab so that the bread won't get mad. They make them fresh daily. The gumbo was for dying, cancer pills are boiled to order, I believe, but they are smaller, just as you know. They still taste good. This is clearly a place where the locals go and I see why. You have burgers and all kinds of other things. If you go through Louisiana on I 20 exit and give them a try. Especially if you like Louisiana taste. We are constantly on the street and are looking for small places that have something special in them. Exit 47.

Food was delicious, as always! Service was good. The time we waited was out of character for this this place. Won't keep me away though! Love this spot!

This place is conveniently located in a gas station at Exit 47/I-20. They serve a lot of different cuisine, but they have several types of hamburgers. The burger is good, but just not what it used to be. The meat is a home made patty, but it was just a little bland. They come with seasoned fries. It's not bad, but average. If you are in the area, it's worth a stop. It's definitely a step up from fast food burgers.
