We simply had to specify the date and time of our arrival, and everything went smoothly. We were served bread with papaya jam, oats with soy milk, coffee or tea, a smoothie, and a few papaya fruits. It was convenient to have their number saved to call when we arrived at the door, since it is not always open as the owners also live there.

Situated near the beach, city center, and port for easy access to Santo Antão, this establishment offers a delightful vegan breakfast upon request. For over a decade, they have been dedicated to helping stray dogs and cats on São Vicente, having neutered thousands of animals on the island. They operate a clinic for the treatment of sick and injured animals, as well as a shelter where visitors can assist with walking the dogs and making toys for the cats. Additionally, they have a volunteer program in place. If you wish to support this deserving organization, consider staying at the Simabo B&B.
