I visited this restaurant shortly after the 2020 presidential election. The barista made assumptions about my political beliefs, which I found to be presumptuous and rude. As someone who has worked in customer service for 12 years, I know that discussing politics with customers is inappropriate. I wish they were open more frequently on weekends, but I always enjoy it when they are!

As someone who has worked in customer service for 12 years, I know that discussing politics with customers is inappropriate. It is unprofessional for employees to engage customers in conversations about religion, children, politics, marriage, or pregnancy. I used to enjoy visiting this restaurant, but after this experience (which was not the first time politics had been brought up), I will not be returning. I go to a coffee shop to enjoy my drink and small talk, not to discuss politics. Even if we happen to agree, it is not the place for it.
Same overly sweet and over priced drinks as any other location.
