Had the pork jibarito sandwich with rice and pigeon peas. Plantain had a great fry, crispy outside and tender in. It held together perfectly. These guys know what their doing! Generous portion of roast pork was tender, flavorful and rich without being greasy. Mayo balances the pork wonderfully. One star off for spanish-only menus. Servers are friendly and attentive. The customer service at this restaurant was terrible. The male server had a bad attitude and was unhelpful when answering my questions. I expected better service for the money I was spending. My time is valuable and I did not appreciate feeling like I got nothing in return for my purchase. View all feedback.
Arrozo con gandules is dry and no taste. bacalacitos are very fat. not recommended
I eat here all the time food is awesome and so is the service clean environment
Good place to go eat good food friendly servers they make you feel at home.
Meat was at least 2 days old. Rice was ok. Literally spit out my first bite. Only thing fresh was the salad. Yup $12 for a salad. So disappointing. Just close up shop if you can't serve fresh food.
Very good food, service and friendly environment. Loved getting food i grew up with made in the restaurant.
