Pizza had good flavor, however the middle was soggy and very watery. Had an order for takeout and got my pizzas fresh, which was nice, but if they wouldve let the pizzas cook a bit more it would have been a lot better. Like some people on here have stated, it looks a lot better than it tastes. If you're gonna go for anything, I suggest to go for the desert, the tiramisu and cannoli's were really good. I found San Giorgio Pizzeria on Google Maps and decided to go there based on the excellent reviews. I visited with a party of two on a Friday night at 8:00 PM and there was no wait time. We were able to find two seats at the bar immediately. The pizza was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The prices were also very reasonable. I highly recommend this pizza place. The owner is friendly and always willing to chat with customers. Be sure to enjoy a real espresso after your authentic Italian pizza! I will definitely be stopping by during my next trip to Milwaukee.
This is my favorite pizza place. I recommend it to everyone if they are looking for pizza. the atmosphere is beautiful. these pictures come from the last year, but I remember our desire lively. our server was so attentive and gave great weeping recommendations. When I was here, I felt like a family. eating was great- atmosphere and people were great. I hope to come back soon.
You have to try San Giorgio's Authentic Italian Cuisine. The Chefs are trained in Italy. What comes out of the wood fired oven is delicious. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is classy. Follow the restaurant on social media to stay up to date on their rotating specials!
Neapolitan pizza, which has a soft and chewy crust. Best eaten with a fork and knife or folded in half, especially since the juices from cooking can settle underneath. Nothing like your typical chain pizza, so don't expect a crispy or thick crust. Do however expect fresh ingredients and lots of flavor. The San Giorgio is one of my favorites, with arugula and a fried egg.
