Pho Cali has the best Vietnamese food in Milwaukee! I grew up eating Vietnamese food and this is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to across the country. The pho is very flavorful and you get a big bowl for a decent price. Ive never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my food. What Anny Wei doesn't like about Pho 27:
The place smells sketchy, I don’t know what smell it was but not something fresh or clean. My partner asked me to be careful because they got a B on a rate of something about cleanness and hygiene and it’s very easy to get an A. So I did not dare to order any seafood. The menu was very confusing, me and my partner got different things on the same page, and the same dish has multiple photos under it that look like com... View all feedback.

If you haven't already, you should try this place out. Beef Bahn Mi is absolute King here. Comes with some broth too which is *chef's kiss*
Authentic Vietnamese cuisine, and so delicious! I had the beef stew with French bread, which was amazing (banh mi bo kho) and my nephew from Saipan had the Pho. He was surprised his first meal in the contiguous 48 was such authentic Asian cuisine. My husband and daughter shared egg noodles with chicken and vegetables and we all devoured as much as we could. Keep making great food!
The customer service is unmatched! Especially in today's times. I love them
I ordered the crispy fried egg noodles with chicken. I didn 't expect 'crispy ' to mean a bed of dry noodles at room temperature. The noodles were messy and tasted like a latex glove. The broccoli was par boiled. The chicken was alright, though I finished with plenty of food still on my plate. Interesting style choice to put a biohazard symbol on the chopstick sleeve in a restaurant. The 'B ' rating from the health department makes this choice poetic, bonus star for that. Service was lacking. Menus have little to no description, and the pictures are too small to be helpful. Our waiter only provided one-word answers to questions. This is nothing against him; language barriers are difficult and he was obviously doing his best. I just wouldn 't have chosen to eat here had I known the menu was full of mystery.
