I celebrated my birthday h... read more I’ve been visiting this restaurant for years and used to really enjoy it. However, my recent experiences have been a bit hit or miss. I celebrated my birthday here on April 12 and unfortunately received some of the worst service I’ve encountered. We hardly saw our server, and she frequently forgot our drinks, let our water glasses go empty, and didn’t check on us. The restaurant has a small, charming atmosphere, and I understand that it can get busy, but effective communication is essential in those situations—especially coming from someone who has worked in the service industry. As for the food, the gnocchi was mediocre at best, quite typical. The appetizers, which included artichoke dip and salad, were likely the highlights of the meal, surpassing our entrees. Given the prices, I think they could offer a bit more pasta as well.

Would recommend this place and would like to go back for the jazz bar next-door met the owner on the way out told him about our experience. He was much appreciative great place.

The service from the front staff to the waiters was quite unusual, and their demeanor made us feel uncomfortable. When we arrived, the hostess didn't acknowledge us and had difficulty finding our reservation. Our waitress took our orders but never checked in on us until we had finished our meals. Our water glasses remained empty for half the time we were there, as they were never refilled. Unfortunately, the food was also underwhelming and left us feeling unsatisfied. Additionally, the patio area wasn't appealing; it was enclosed and lacked proper airflow.
