Pure joy! look out chicaco, milwaukee has arrived!. mmmmm. have booked last minute for our jubiläum, so had to settle for a premature booking. at the arrival was immediately accompanied to a table for two in the back of the wall in front of the wine room, where it seemed that any AC venting with the AC drive was installed at full explosion, although it hardly 62 degrees outside. As the name already says that they pierce the door into this restaurant, back to a forgotten border in American history. server roast and serve coffee in a chemex. I tried her five cursor menu that will reset you, I was not disappointed. one of the best restaurants of milwaukee.
We had the following experience with us tried to keep our experience only between us and the staff of the restaurant until we discovered that they were our opentable reservation after we had gone to make our thoughts known. we have contact to open table management. here is what happened our waiter aaron couldn't care less about us or the tables around us have taken care of our foie gras came very cold (like very cold butter), so it had to be cut. when we mentioned this to the waiter and said that we would like to warm it up, he said just ok' and went away our experience worsened from there our escapes came. Meal was great, but the service was incredibly slow. had water in front of a drink and picked a guy standing around to fill empty drinks. Please note that!
It was fantastic. As always. We are sad to see c.1880 close, but so happy for Thomas and Sara and their next chapter.
Once again, the experience exceeded expectations – I can't wait to see what’s next for Thomas Hauck, Joshua Wolter, and Aaron Mayo – an amazing team. Thank you for all the wonderful occasions!
