Amazing food every time we eat here. By far one of my families favorite Italian restaurants. The pizza, garlic bread and salad is delicious. We have been eating in this restaurant for years and become customers! View all feedback.
What Cali Gutkowski doesn't like about Barbiere's Italian Restaurant On Bluemound:
The service was good but after a long wait for our food, the Alfredo Fettuccine my wife ordered came to the table barely warm and got cold in just a few minutes. The meat sauce in my lasagna was sour, watery, and quite flavorless. The much hyped garlic bread was hard and so oily we both got stomach pain from it. Again, the service was good but didn't make up for the other shortcomings. View all feedback.
Pizza wasn't like I remember years ago. The crust was like cardboard and the garlic bread was good, but NOT tasted like garlic and there was no garlic salt on the table to make it licky. The lasagna was good and the salad was good
Not great, not terrible. The garlic bread is very good, but the other food we ordered was just okay. The interior is very close. They are very short employees like any other place, so don't go when you are hungry.
We haven't been here for about 30 years and we were looking for a change from our usual Italian restaurant. We came on Friday at 6:00. It was relatively busy, but not full. We stood and waited for almost five minutes before someone realized we were there. We took place is a stand; several were open. I ordered the meat of Lasagna and my wife ordered the snack and the antipasto salad. The salad was big enough for both of us. The salad was made tasty with vinegar and oil. Both accepted so they were made to order. Both lubricated very well, although both were too salty. My only disappointment was that I must get the vegetarian lasagna because I could find meat. It was hard on the Mozzarella cheese and lasagna. I asked the server and she said it was a meat sauce. That didn't change my mind. No meat to speak. We've been through the dinners. The meatballs in the snack were also salted excessively. A beautiful place, friendly staff. I'm not forced to come back.
We had a delicious antipasto salad along with a garlic bread a beautiful crispy crust pizza with cheese, mushroom sausage. We love this picturesque little neighborhood restaurant!!
