Bryant's Cocktail Lounge - Milwaukee

I was in some amazing bars and speak in many places. NYC, Chicago, New Orleans, Charleston, Miami etc. and I'd put Bryant up against any of them. Phenomenal Beverages, Worth Barkeepers. My drinking has been an old fashion with Makers Mark for years. I had no idea about Brandy Old Fashioned before I visited Wisconsin. After having the Wisconsin style at Bryant’s, I am at the edge of the transformation of my preference. Bryant is a must for anyone who has a chance to go.

Bryant's has been on my list for far longer than I can remember, one of those places I've always meant to go to whenever I was in Milwaukee, but just never had the chance to do so. Finally having gotten the opportunity to make it THE destination, I can happily say it was absolutely worth the hype and the wait. Bryant's is a relic of another time, a corner neighborhood bar in a neighborhood that has seen better days. The mood is decidedly from another time as well, with dim lighting and wallpaper that just recently celebrated its 50th birthday. And this is a good thing. This is exactly what you want. Trust me. Because the drinks? Wow. Bryant's is one of those bars where you tell them what you like, what you don't, and the skilled bartenders behind the bar put together some sort of magic that turns out exceeding your every expectation. It's like having that great bartender who knows exactly what you like, every single time. Can't wait to try some other concoctions at this Milwaukee institution!

Came here during holiday time so only had holiday drinks to pick from in the upstairs area. The drinks were really tasty and the service was good. Not a bad stop!

Amazing cocktails and a great atmosphere. Go around Christmas time and try the holiday punch, it's delicious

Had a great 1st experience at Bryant's. It has that intimate speakeasy type vibe with the low lighting and comfortable seating. Because they have no menu, you get to give your preferences to the bartender to then make a drink that fits the profile. All 3 drinks were spot on. They also have the ability to make icecream/frozen drinks very well because of the blenders at the bar, so if you're looking for a hurricane or Pina colada you're in luck. Overall, fantastic experience and would go back if visiting Milwaukee again.
