This restaurant is a fantastic spot for a hot South Indian breakfast. It brought back memories of Bengaluru! The only downside is that there are limited dine-in options and everything is takeout. There are some tables available outside, but you may have to wait for a seat. However, I really enjoyed the Pongal, vada, and idly. The sambar and coconut chutney were the best I've had so far.
This restaurant is almost entirely geared towards takeout orders. The online ordering system is quick and convenient, and the food is some of the best in the Bay Area. They also offer pre-made curries in a fridge inside the facility. The only reason I didn't give it a 5-star rating is because I love sambar, and the portion included in my order was very small - just one small box for three large idlis. I tried to ask for more in the comments when ordering, but it wasn't fulfilled. Other than that, it's a great option for vegetarians as all menu items are meat-free.
After eagerly anticipating for months, I finally made the trip to Milpitas to try their delicious food. I ordered poori masala and idiyappam. Unfortunately, the poori was disappointing, resembling an oily and soggy cloth. The idiyappam seemed as though it had just been defrosted, with moisture present. I was extremely let down by the quality of the food. The owners really need to step up their game and serve better dishes. It was a waste of my time driving all the way there to eat such below average food.
A good place to try south indian food. I really liked Idli and Vada. Not very hygienic and hardly any place to sit and eat. I do not like the fact they use Single Use containers to provide food to each customers not very environment friendly!!!Vegetarian options: It is a vegetarian only restaurant
The best South Indian quick comfort food i ever tasted.Their sambar is basically the best tasting sambar i have had in my life, its thick and flavorful. Also the coconut chutney was so awesome. I had forgotten what a good coconut chutney was supposed to be like.I dont know why they dont make dosas. I WANT dosa !!!!!!!
