The food is good here, but I didn't like the Duck sauce though, it tasted like dish soap. I gave it five stars though because of how delicious the sesame chicken is ! View all feedback.
What Joshua Busque doesn't like about Taipei Kitchen:
If you're looking for what we Americans usually eat as Chinese food. This isn't it. Not a big selection and he won't alter much. Would like beef and broccoli or chicken and veggies. Can't get it here. He said it's not real Asian food. I don't give a f about that. View all feedback.
This place is an absolute f joke they serve you ramen noodles with a 99 cent bag of f vegetables and then charging $9 a plate he's literally opening boxes from the store next door heating them up and serving them to you save your money
I don't know how much yall know about authentic Asian cuisine, but we come from the Pacific Northwest and this ain't it. We waited an hour for our food despite it all being instantly recognizable as instant ramen with frozen diced veggies you buy from the supermarket. My dish seemed to be actual food, but it was advertised as a seafood dish. It was about a cup of noodles and veggies with exactly three shell-on shrimp on top.The whole experience was... sad. Not even bad, not even frustrating, just sad.
Service was friendly. Food was average. Not sure if I will visit again

The service wasn't good here. The waitress seemed more interested in getting away from our table as quickly as she could. Tea was served in a children's sized tea pot and the smallest cup I've ever seen. The teapot lid fell onto my tiny cup because there's no hook on the lid, and spilled tea on the table. Apparently, the same thing happened to a woman sitting nearby. I asked for a regular sized cup and she brought me an ice cold cup (stored in an unheated room or the freezer? for hot tea and didn't offer me more hot water. The one thing that I can say positive is that the food tasted fresh. But basically we each got a giant plate of starch to fill the belly. Hubby's shrimp fried rice, served as a whole meal, had small, canned sized shrimp and peas and carrots, which is not authentic Asian. We'd rather have 3 quality shrimp than canned shrimp. My dish looked like ramen noodles with peas and carrots, and a very small amount of chicken, although I ordered pork. Yikes. We basically paid $9 for large plates of starch and peas and carrots. The spring rolls weren't bad. The Vietnamese appetizer was strange and hard to describe, but kind of tasty. They were flat and crispy fried squares. We were disappointed. It's so hard to get a good restaurant here. We won't go back.
