Put Rocky's on your bucket list. It's been around for over 60 years in Millwood, dare i say an institution. A quick hop off the Tachonic, just a block past the gas station. I have only been visiting for the last 20 years and can say it has not changed much, that's a good thing! Great sandwiches and ALWAYS OPEN. 24/7 365 days a year. What G V doesn't like about Rocky's Millwood Delicatessen:
The price you pay depends who is at the register that day. I've been given other peoples orders by mistake and I refuse to explain to anyone there that cream cheese needs to be spread across the entire bagel. Cream cheese will not magically spread itself. Today I ordered coffee and it looks like they gave me a lid that someone drank from and put on the counter again. Everyone tends to be nice and the ingredients are... View all feedback.
I forgot to post, and these guys knocked it out of the park like always. First, I forgot to specify wedge vs roll when paying...he didn 't charge me the difference. Also, there was a huge wedge mistake that he offered us for my 14 yo son, nocharge. He didn 't want it to go to waste. It was, of course, delicious. In my incredulous gratitude for his kindness, Ioverlooked tipping them, just because I was in an omg you 're so sweet stupor. We 'll see them this week, and of course, overtip, but also bring them something...Rocky 's is the bomb...especially the late night guys
Pretty standard fair for a deli, sandwiches are enjoyable, other snacks are well stocked, as are the drinks. Great when you need something late at night, just be aware this business is frequented by police officers. They're not generally there to hassleanyone, just to get food. But still, don't be surprised to see them.
Love. Love. LOVE ROCKY'S DELI!! Bought a shirt, wore it the next day in Poughkeepsie, and a man in the hotel elevator said whenever he visits NY that's always his first stop....not pizza...but Rocky's!! That says alot. (Helps that they are open 24/7/365!!
Great sandwiches but $20 for one sandwich is criminal. Prices got jacked up since my last visit, wow
Overnight Shift told me to try a bacon egg and cheese on a glazed donut with honey siracha , was FIRE! . Chef Nick is the man
