China One - Milltown
China One
Description
In a vibrant culinary landscape, one restaurant has earned a reputation that leaves diners divided. While some praise its authenticity and flavorful offerings, such as the much-loved chicken lo mein, others lament the low-quality ingredients and unappetizing dishes. Reviews frequently mention tough beef, bland Singapore noodles, and lackluster service marred by rudeness. A notable complaint centers on inconsistent meal preparations, with a staple dish missing key ingredients. Overall, while the atmosphere captures the essence of traditional Chinese takeout, many patrons urge prospective diners to proceed with caution, as disappointing experiences may overshadow the potential for excellent cuisine.

Good food, not a bad wait, great price with the lunch special. Will visit again. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20
Feels like a genuine ratchet New York Chinese take out place. Love the experience and service. Rude and aggressive. Very authentic. Extremely Covid cautious but to each their own lol Service: Takeaway
I've been ordering from this location from years and today I ordered pork fried rice and it only had onions and pork, usually it has eggs and when I called about it they said they never put egg in their fried rice only onion and pork which is untrue. This seemed to happen after the cost of eggs going up. This is bad business practice especially for the community that supports their business. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN! Service: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30
Wish I could give 0 stars. Egg rolls were just cabbage on inside, overdone on the outside. Subgum wonton. ONE scallop, chicken with garlic sauce. NO garlic. This was the worst Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been to. You had to ask for sauce packets, and didn’t even get any fortune cookies. Here is your fortune China one; you’re not getting my business.
