Ott's Tavern - Millstadt
Ott's Tavern
Description
Ott's Tavern, once a cherished destination for seafood lovers, appears to be experiencing a decline in both food quality and service. Diners report dissatisfaction with overpriced dishes, including a fish sandwich that arrives cold and underwhelming. While the new menu offers enticing items, patrons struggle with timing issues at the table, further dampened by a noisy atmosphere. Despite the friendly service and atmosphere improvements, many customers feel disillusioned by rising prices and dwindling portion sizes. While the burgers received some praise, the overall sentiment suggests a restaurant in need of revitalization to reclaim its former glory.

Met family there for fish. Hadn't been there in years. Fish wasn't as good as we remember. Sticker shock when we found out fish was $17.95 a pound! There were 10 of us there. Fish was $7.95 a pound the last time we visited. We live in Colorado and reallylooked forward to getting the fish we used to love. I know, inflation. Well, I don't think we will be visiting there anymore. It was a very pleasant visit with family, but very expensive.
Beautiful night for outdoor seating and Friday night fish fry! Good eats, great service, and cold drinks. We got two fish plate sandwiches, as well as the nightmare burger! Terry, the owner, sat with us and chatted for a bit. He is fun, outgoing, and allaround good conversation!
Friendliest service around. Great price for delicious food. Outside seating can be loud and busy. Inside is quieter and cozy.
