An all vegan establishment in Millis?! I am here for it! This place is AMAZING! The tea is so good, and the place has such mellow and good vibes. I did not eat a meal, but I did get some pastries and they were all so fantastic. I had some questionsthat the staff was so kind and knowledgeable, answering them all and helping me out. I loved this place so much and I can't waitto go back!
Absolutely excellent. All vegan. I am not a vegan myself but this whole experience was spectacular. Great mood as soon as you walk in. There?s a beautiful booth area where you can take off your shoes and sit traditional style on pillows at the table. Sorelaxing and great. A bunch of the team is working so nothing takes long and everything in fresh. A few people came to just workon their laptops inside; seems like a perfect spot to work remotely during lunch time to catch a break from the office. Everyitem we had was done perfectly; you wouldn?t even know it was vegan! On spot flavor combinations in each dish. Even the tea cake(not pictured) was so fluffy and moist. There are items for everyone as I saw they also included other items that were free ofcommon allergens etc
We love this place! I'm vegetarian but my husband is not. Great for brunch on weekends or lunch/dinner during the week. Tea, smoothies, and coffee are always great. Vegan baked goods are the best! We come here regularly.Vegetarian options: Menu is all vegan!Kid friendliness: We brought our 3.5 month old and had no issues I don't believe they have high chairs but are very welcoming of children. Standard seats/tables and floor cushion seating.
Nirvana Tea House is exactly the kind of Cafe I have been wanting in my life. An Eastern inspired decor marries well with their overall vibe laid back, welcoming, and an escape into the present moment.Nirvana Tea House features a Vegan friendly menu filled with a great variety of choices pastries, entrees, little nibbling plates, and a wide range of teas and drinks that are sure to please almost any appetite. My wife wanting herbal tea without caffeine had a suite of choices that other cafés simply lack.As for me, I went for a golden milk latte and a Mediterranean Platter. The golden milk latte a foamy concoction of soy milk, turmeric, and spices was well prepared and precisely what I expected warming and comforting like a hug in a mug.The Mediterranean Platter was a good little lunch for me. Hummus, sautéed eggplant, olives, veggies, and toasty pitas made for a sharable feast that left me feeling deeply content. The hummus wasn't as garlicy as I make it and could have certainly used bolder flavours, but in the face of everything else I thought of as a positive about my experience, I'd call that a minor quibble. My wife had an almond croissant we were both expecting it to have a fair amount of marzipan in it, but instead it was simply a really good croissant garnished with some almonds and with a pleasant almond flavour.Having experienced some truly abysmal vegan pastries in the past, I could hardly believe that it was as good as any other croissant I've ever had. When it comes to a café, the vibe matters as much as the food, and Nirvana scores high on both counts. It is a place that I want to go to, an experience I want to have the fact that the food is stellar has me looking forward to the next time I decide to take a jaunt up to Millis.
Food is healthy and delicious! Lots of great teas to choose from and many gluten free options.
