Classic corned beef hash, eggs, home fries, rye toast! Nicely done in every way. That's really all I have to say, other than that I got great service the diner was air conditioned very well.
I wish every diner was like this one! They undoubtedly have the best FLAVORED pancakes of ANY place I have eaten pancakes. They also had a bit more substance than most pancakes which probably are produced using a commercial pancake mix (just like the stuff you buy in the grocery . The Diner's pancakes had better texture, color (eggs? and general good flavor overall than all the rest.
Had an awesome egg bacon sandwich; it's a cozy little diner in Milbrook; I would recommend it.
This classic diner in Millbrook offers a nostalgic dining experience with reliably good food and attentive service. Popular dishes include French Toast, Eggs Benedict, Cobb Salad, and the Big Speck Cheeseburger, all praised for quality and flavor. While prices lean toward the higher side, the value remains reasonable given the location. The atmosphere is charming but can be a bit noisy at times. Though some menu items, like the gyro’s tzatziki, deviate from traditional recipes, overall it remains a beloved local favorite, perfect for breakfast, lunch, or brunch in a warm, historic setting.

I had lunch at this charming little diner and I must say, I really enjoy old Trolley diners. While they tend to be quite small, especially the original ones, Millbrook Diner has been expanded, which adds to its unique atmosphere and provides a different dining experience. It was busy at lunchtime, but we were able to get a table right away. The ambiance was lovely, despite the diner’s limited menu and space, which was functional but cozy. The staff did an excellent job managing the lunch crowd. Our meals arrived quickly, hot, and well-prepared. We enjoyed our lunch and were mindful of the other patrons waiting for a table. There seemed to be a good number of parking spots available both in front and behind the diner, though it looked like they were all filled when we left. Overall, Millbrook Diner offered a satisfying meal at a reasonable price—not the cheapest, but certainly not too pricey either. If you enjoy Trolley diners or are just looking for a smaller diner with good food, Millbrook Diner is a great choice.
Wow. A historical diner. Had lunch on Saturday with my sister. We had French onion soup to start. It was excellent. I had a Rubin sandwich with fries. My sister had an egg sandwich. We sat at the counter. The owner and his wife stopped talked to us. What a great place.
My favorite diner. My father once lived in town and we visited here ever since 2002. The breakfast is a genuine, good tasting diner breakfast. Nothing has changed in 20 years. Only gotten better. Unfortunately the music boxes do not work : ..but they keep the true ascetic alive and I love it. The staff is very attentive and kind as well. Will always be back.
I had a wonderful experience at a historical dinner that was themed around the past. The food was fantastic! The only downside was that the indoor space felt a bit cramped. However, they did offer an outdoor area, which was a nice alternative.

I had a fantastic old-school diner experience! The service was excellent, and I dined in for breakfast. The price per person was around $10–20. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a solid 4 out of 5. Highly recommend!

My husband I love this quaint diner in the town of Millbrook. When we want to reminisce about the old days we come here. It instantly brings you back to the 40's 50's. The service is always friendly efficient. Definitely give this place a try.

I had lunch at this charming little diner and absolutely love the classic trolley-style diners. They tend to be quite small, especially the original ones that haven’t been expanded, but Millbrook Diner is an enlarged version of a trolley diner. This gives it a nostalgic atmosphere that offers a unique dining experience. During the lunchtime rush, it was fairly busy, but we managed to get a table right away. The ambiance was enjoyable, despite the cozy space that small diners typically have. The restroom was also compact but served its purpose well. The staff did an excellent job managing the lunchtime crowd, and our food arrived promptly, hot, and well-prepared. We relished our meal and made sure to leave as other patrons were waiting for a table. There seems to be a decent amount of parking available both on the street in front and behind the diner, although it appeared that all spots were filled when we left. Overall, Millbrook Diner provided a satisfying meal at a reasonable price. While it wasn’t the cheapest option out there, it was also not overly pricey. If you enjoy trolley diners or smaller establishments with good food, Millbrook Diner is definitely worth a visit.
This restaurant is situated in a peaceful area. The outdoor seating is pleasant on a sunny, warm day. The interior is small for a diner, but the wait time was not bad at all. I was with a party of seven, and we only waited about 20 minutes. The pancakes are quite large and delicious as well.
