We celebrated my husband's birthday with a reservation at 7:30 PM, but it took nearly 20 minutes for our server to take our drink orders. Although our drinks arrived fairly quickly, I had to find another server to place our dinner orders. We didn't receive our entrees until around 9:30 PM. Having spent 11 years in the restaurant and hospitality industry, I noticed the staff polishing silverware, cleaning glassware, and chatting with each other. If the restaurant had been busy, I would have been more understanding—I'm not usually one to complain (which may be surprising given this review). However, sitting down at 7:30 and not leaving until about 10:45 with a party of four is quite perplexing. There were plenty of staff members, and the place wasn’t crowded at all. The problem seemed to be a lack of attention to guests; the servers were more focused on their conversations and side tasks than on serving us. On a positive note, the food was absolutely delicious. But take my advice: if you decide to go, don’t arrive starving or thirsty, as you may end up waiting a long time. (My husband had even warned me beforehand about their notorious slow service, which is why he suggested I eat before we went.) I hope you work on improving your service standards.
