**Discovering Charlotte's: A Mixed Culinary Experience**
Nestled off Route 44, Charlotte's boasts a charming ambiance and picturesque views, making it a perfect spot for a cozy meal. While some patrons praised the delicious and creatively crafted dishes, such as perfectly glazed pork belly and fresh filet mignon, others were disappointed by bland offerings and high prices. Issues like unseasoned vegetables and a lack of attention to detail marred the experience for several diners. Service also varied, with instances of rudeness overshadowing the warmth of the atmosphere. Overall, while Charlotte's has potential, consistency in food quality and service remains a crucial concern.

I visited this restaurant for Mother’s Day with my two sons, aged 6 and 3. The food was fantastic, and the ambiance was lovely. The only downside was that our server seemed overwhelmed with too many tables. While she was working hard, there was a long wait for our main course to be cleared and for us to order dessert. She also didn’t check in on our drink refills as often as we would have liked. Despite that, we had a great experience overall and will definitely try again.
Two members of our party ordered the seafood crepe, which unfortunately arrived without any sauce and was served with bland vegetables, along with just one crepe for nearly $40. When I’m paying $40 for such a small dish, I expect the vegetables to be well-seasoned. That dish should realistically have been priced at a maximum of $20. My family had heard so many great things about Charlotte's, so perhaps they were just having an off day, but the food fell short of our expectations, especially considering the high prices. I've enjoyed much better meals for $15 at my local bar. It’s hard to justify that kind of price for flavorless food that, after all was said and done, still left us feeling hungry by the time we got home. It was a major disappointment.
The food was excellent, except for the crab soup, which was overly salty. The veteran waitress could benefit from refreshing her knowledge of waitress etiquette. Having grown up in a restaurant family and worked as a bartender for 10 years, I believe it all comes down to attitude. I won’t let one person affect my overall rating. The rest of the staff was very friendly.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving meal at Charlotte's! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, filled with natural light. A lovely fire crackled in the fireplace, adding to the overall charm. The service was exceptional, and the food was truly delightful. Everything was beautifully presented!
