Description

This small coffee shop in Millbrook offers a diverse menu, including sandwiches, soup, fish and chips, and the popular "frings" (a combo of fries and onion rings). Despite some initial off-putting experiences with grumpy staff and a profane, drunk owner, the food is reasonably priced and satisfying - a classic greasy spoon experience. It's a great spot for a light lunch, coffee with locals, or a casual dinner. Once you get past the initial brusqueness, the friendly atmosphere makes it a welcoming place to dine and hang out. Take the chance and give this local spot a try.

This cozy coffee shop in a small town is a favorite among locals who are sure to greet you with a smile. The atmosphere is friendly, the food is delicious, and you'll feel like a part of the community before you know it.

I tried this restaurant and ordered 2 appetizers and 1 main dish, but I will never go back. The tables were disorganized and dirty, and the food tasted very average. Definitely not worth a second visit.

We get Halibut and Fries about once a month here. The location may head you off but go in and have a nice dinner. There is plenty in the single dinner for one and we often split a 2 piece dinner.

After a year of vowing not to go back, I returned to Noodle Box despite the manager/owner being very rude to my daughter and me during my previous visit.

My husband and I moved to Millbrook almost 4 years ago and never went to this place because we thought it was similar to a convenience store that you see in a typical gas station. Recently someone recommended the "frings" which are the combination of fries and onion rings. So, out of desperation one night, i stopped in and ordered 2 burgers and a frings. It was very good. It's not a gourmet restaurant but you certainly get your money's worth. Here's the DL...it's clean, prices are very reasonable, old-school donut-shop style tables (not super comfortable). Food is typical greasy spoon. As others have mentioned, staff seem a little irritated to be interrupted by your presence at the store but I get the sense it's like everywhere else in Millbrook. If you're a regular and they know you they're very friendly. If you come in as a stranger, it takes some time to warm up to you. Have gone back a few times in the last couple of months. Two burgers and a large "frings" - about $20.
