Description

Nestled in Millbrae, Chicken Pho You offers a blend of Vietnamese and Hong Kong-inspired dishes. Diners have experienced both highs and lows, with highlights including a hearty chicken noodle soup bursting with flavor and generous portions. However, some complaints have surfaced regarding the blandness of certain pho dishes, unappealing chicken textures, and service practices around tipping. While the ambiance remains cozy and inviting, opinions diverge on the overall quality of food. For those seeking a quick, fulfilling meal, Chicken Pho You may be worth a visit, though expectations should be tempered.

The Fried Chicken Wings (4) were delicious and very crispy. The Chicken Noodle Soup with Chicken Intestines was okay, but it didn't have any intestines in it, only chicken gizzards and chicken meat.

I tried the chicken noodle soup, but the broth was bland and the chicken didn't taste good with slimy skin. On the bright side, the iced coffee was enjoyable. I won't be ordering from this restaurant again.

I was disappointed with the soup at this restaurant. I was expecting regular Vietnamese rice noodles, but instead got flat noodles that became mushy. There were no bean sprouts, rosemary, cilantro, or onions, just chicken, broth, and mushy noodles. The chow fun also didn't seem fresh, possibly reheated. This was the worst Vietnamese food I've had in the Bay Area.

This was literally the worst chicken pho I have ever had. It was completely tasteless, no aromatics given, no sriracha packets. The chicken was ALL cartilage and gristle. The broth was completely bland. The iced coffee was not sealed at all and was 1/2 filled. DO NOT ORDER.
