**Dining in Mill Valley: A Mixed Experience at Local Favorite** Bungalow emerges as a notable destination in Mill Valley, boasting innovative dishes and a friendly vibe. Highlights include airy bread, unique appetizers, and exceptional mains, with patrons praising the grilled prawn salad and perfectly cooked filet mignon. However, the restaurant faces criticism for inconsistency; some guests experienced undercooked meals and less-than-ideal service. While the ambiance is inviting, particularly in the tented terrace, there are calls for improvements like gluten-free options. Overall, Bungalow embodies the charm of Mill Valley dining but requires attention to detail to elevate guest experiences further.

I recently enjoyed some of the best food I've had at a restaurant in a while! While the service could have been better, it seemed like the servers were handling too many tables. View all feedback.

What Amelia Ritchie dislikes about Bungalow 44:
The food came across as pretentious, but it didn't deliver on flavor. We were seated in an area that resembled a tented terrace, which was only about half of the dining room. While the meals were somewhat overpriced, the bread was a highlight—light in flavor, airy with plenty of air pockets, and had a crispy crust. Overall, I think you could find better restaurants in Mill Valley. View all feedback.

Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. We had to send our food back twice. After waiting 40 minutes for our main course, we alerted our server, and the food arrived within 5 minutes. However, the burger was undercooked and needed to be returned. When it came back, only one side had been grilled, resulting in a burnt side and the other side barely cooked. It was, without a doubt, the worst burger we have ever had. Additionally, the Caesar salad lacked Caesar dressing and was made with radicchio, making it quite bitter. Our server never returned to check on us; instead, someone else brought our bill. There was no adjustment made for the mistakes, and we ended up leaving after only taking a bite of the burger. Overall, we were unable to finish any of our orders due to the poor quality of the food.

Our entire dining experience was excellent, from the time we arrived until we left. The appetizers were very unique and delicious; the main dishes were excellent as well as the plating and presentation.
