Wow, the food was terrible. I'm embarrassed that I served it to my son. The tempura shrimp didn't taste like shrimp at all; it was more like some rubbery meat alternative. The 'crab' in my son's California roll was more reminiscent of rotten tuna. There's no way the owners of this place actually eat their own food and believe it's even remotely acceptable. Great local sushi place in Mill Valley. Really small place so mainly takeout. But a great place to stop and get a bite before a movie during non Covid lockdown
I just like their food. I always get excellent customer service there. The place is neat and the employees are always very welcoming. Would recommend to others.
They offer a fantastic variety of delicious food. I loved eating here. Staff members are always very kind, rates are convenient and the place is always well organised.
My family, including the kids, absolutely adore Amberjack. It may be small and without sit-down service, but it is run by a lovely family. The food is incredibly fresh and generously portioned. It is definitely our favorite sushi spot in Mill Valley, even better than Samurai.
Amberjack has only a couple of tables, It’s is a bit cold and drafty. But we still had a really good meal. Both the cooked food and sashimi was excellent. Amberjack does a large takeout business to make up for their limited seating.
