Beautiful and comforting ambiance. Excellent service. The bread dip was tasty. A minus 1/2 star for the linguine di mare noodles were a bit dry but sauce and clams were good. I will definitely recommend Piatti's and will be back again when in the area. View all feedback.
What Linda Michelsen doesn't like about Piatti - Mill Valley:
The tortellini was way undercooked, sent back and still undercooked. Sauce was too tomatoe forward as well as bean soup. Was suprised parking lot empty...now know why. Food was more like a line cook..not chef. Use to love this place. Wont return. View all feedback.
The entire experience was very good, bigger/receptionist upbeat and inviting and brought us to our table, presented the menus to our server and thanked us. the waitress was very pleasant and professional and had good knowledge of the menu, checked frequently and thanked us. we asked the manager for another article when he was in the opposite and he reacted quickly. all in all good.
We were rushed by orders. took off the appetizers before he finished. the table was in an egress area. was piled by servers that move between the tables. not relaxing and hard to eat when infested by people. very disappointing. I've been away for a long time.
Terrible menu and eat. bar lacks and could not make any basic drinks.
Eating at piattis is not very good or Italian. expenbsive and not delicious. salat ok. the rest is not very frisable.
We had just flown home from Colorado where we visited our son for his graduation. On the way home to Santa Rosa. We thought we would stop by Piatti for dinner and through OpenTable was happy to see there were some reservations available. We were excited to have a special dinner together before going home. Our server was wonderful and the food delicious. I look forward to returning one day.
