Whether yo... read more I recently attended a "Remake Learning" meetup at Fallingwater, and it was an incredible experience. The site is stunning, with beauty at every turn. Whether you’re inside or outside, it takes your breath away. The iconic views and aerial perspectives provide two distinct ways to appreciate the house. It was a fantastic experience, and I’m thrilled to have checked this item off my bucket list!

One of it... read more This place is truly an architectural gem. If you haven't yet visited this stunning house nestled in the foothills of Pennsylvania, you're missing out! One of its unique features is a stream that runs through the house, allowing you to experience nature in any season. The beautiful architecture is something I would love to call home. It's set deep in the woods, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. There's also a little-known guest house located behind it, adding to the charm of the property. It's definitely a remarkable spot worth exploring!

My only wish is that I could stay here for a while. This place is incredible; it feels like a work of art! I highly recommend you check it out, and be sure to plan your visit in advance. You’ll be just as amazed as I was! I’m so glad it’s preserved and open to the public—it’s a gem! The atmosphere is so relaxing and charming. What’s not to love? Honestly, nothing! This place is simply brilliant!

There are walking trails and various viewpoints around the property that are highly recommended. Nestled in the mountains and woods, I was lucky enough to experience a significant rainstorm during my visit, which cleared just in time for the tour. Seeing the “falling water” while standing there that day was a remarkable experience. Overall, it was well worth the admission price and is an absolute must-see for anyone who appreciates Frank Lloyd Wright's work.

The house gets its name from its location above a small waterfall. Shortly after its construction was completed, the house became renowned as a prime example of organic architecture. By 1966, just under 30 years after it was built, the "House over the Waterfall" was designated a National Historic Landmark in the United States. In 1991, members of the American Institute of Architects recognized it as "the best and unrivaled achievement in national architecture."
