What Mark R doesn't like about The Palace:
I stopped here on my drive back to New York. The server was friendly, and the ambiance was charming, but the food was incredibly overpriced for the small and unappetizing portions. We ordered a few pasta dishes, and they all tasted very bland and dry. The place also had an odd smell. The chicken noodle soup was really just chicken soup with elbow pasta added. I would definitely recommend skipping this restaurant. View all feedback.
The first time we ate in the palace was a very good experience. Second time better. The staff is so friendly and nice. Each from the servers to the cash registers is exceptional. The food is always hot and tasty and such a great selection of dishes. Will definitely make this place one of our regular spots, even if it is a bit of a car from Lewes.
Excellent service, extensive menu choices, great food quality and flavor, out of the ordinary dessert selections and really good overall value. During a time when most restaurants are downsizing their choices, their menu reads more like a short story. Practically anything your heart desires is available. Can’t wait to try more delectable dishes in the future.
Great food and atmosphere! Our server Joicy was great! My daughter enjoyed the stuffed shells and her salad with it was generous and fresh. I was craving a bit of spicy and the Buffalo Chicken wrap hit the spot. We ordered broccoli cheese bites as an appetizer and they were good also. The fries were hot and crisp but not overdone. My daughter and I both said the garlic bread was really really good also. We’ve been here a few times having a variety of the options and its all been good. If you need a place with variety on the menu and not another chain restaurant; I’d stop here!
My bf was in the mood for pizza, but I am on a low-carb diet, so I was pleasantly surprised that they offered numerous meals I could choose. He got a delicious pizza and I got a healthy meal.
Got the fried chicken sandwhich with fries very good. And the wait staff was excellent!
