Backyard (the) - Milton
Backyard (the)
Description
Nestled in a charming locale, Backyard Restaurant offers an enticing breakfast menu that has polarized patrons. While some diners rave about the delightful homemade biscuits and gravy and exceptional service, others lament over mixed-up orders and subpar flavors. Pricing has also sparked critique, with many feeling that upcharges for substitutions are unjustified. Despite some disappointing dishes, many guests appreciate the warm atmosphere and recommend visiting for standout items like crab fries and blueberry pancakes. Whether it’s a welcoming breakfast hub or a culinarily confusing experience, opinions about this restaurant run the spectrum.

Phenomenal. Perfect scrapple, had to order 2 because it was too good. The service was exceptional, I believe her name was Brooke. She made us fantastic drinks, always catered to everything and dropped the ball on nothing. I love this place. Chicken and waffles, the orange crush, braised short rib hash with perfectly cooked over medium eggs. across the board.
We tried The Backyard on our way to the beach. It was highly recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is lovely and the food was so delicious and well presented. Some of the items we ordered were the Choripan, The Garlic Shorty and the County Chicken. Everyone was extremely pleased and cleaned their plates. Just letting you know, the hand cut fries are addicting, especially with the malt vinegar on them. Our family had a great experience. We are already planning on coming back again. Pictured below is one of the dishes for our party, it was Choripan. Definitely try this place out.
