The place was busy but our server and other servers worked as a team and were attentive. It's my first time here and I wanted to go here for a while. The place is so cozy and inviting. It's family friendly and I love the crowd. It's spacious. The food was absolutely delicious and fair for the price. I'll definitely be going back! View all feedback.

Amazing drinks and great atmosphere. Food is decent. Sitting on the front porch during spring and summer is next level.
I was in the area, and I saw this restaurant come up under my Yelp page. My boyfriend and I decided to try it. I'm so glad we did. There is limited parking. You can either park on the street or park in the back. What I love about this place is it's old world charm. This place is quaint. There is a wrap around porch that has outdoor seating. Also, on the other side of the building where you check in is outdoor seating on a patio which is very dog friendly. I must've pet seven different breeds of dogs. Their owners were extremely friendly. Historic Dimmick's Inn also has indoor seating and a full bar. They have a wood burning Pizza Oven. It was a beautiful day, and not hot so I decided to sit outside on the porch. I was immediately greeted by a very friendly server named Ester. She was so delightful. We started with some signature cocktails. Our bartender Vince did such a good job with these cocktails. I chose their Perfectly Ginger Sangria-Pear Nectar, Sauvignon Blanc, Lemon Juice, Simple Syrup, Ginger Beer. It was very refreshing. When I was done I ate the the piece of fresh ginger. My second cocktail was their Passionfruit Margarita-Jose Cuervo, Passion Fruit Juice, Triple Sec, Fresh Lime Juice, Chili Lime Salt Rim. I absolutely loved this cocktail. It was well balanced and that chili lime salt rim only added to the delicious flavors. My boyfriend chose to have 2 of the same signature cocktails. He chose their Strawberry Rhubarb Smash- Jim Beam Bourbon, Strawberry -Rhubarb Puree, Lemon Juice, Mint, Simple Syrup. He really loved this cocktail. The rhubarb purée gave this cocktail a tart and somewhat sweet taste with the added simple syrup. For Appetizer I chose their Fried Calamari- with classic marinara or Thai chili sauce, and pickled sweet peppers. I chose both their Marinara Sauce and their Thai Chili Sauce. Both sauces were very good, but I really enjoyed their Thai Chili Sauce. My Calamari was light and crisp. We both thoroughly enjoyed it. It was somewhat early, so I didn't want to have a huge meal. We both decided on their French Dip Sandwich and it came with French fries. This was definitely one of the best French dips I've ever had. It was served on this amazing semolina bread, but what made it so good was the meat was tender and their dipping sauce was light and flavorful. Typically French dip sauces are very salty. This sauce was light. Had a touch of lemon in it and I really, really enjoyed it. I only ate half of my sandwich and took the rest home. We were both very full and we did not have any dessert. I would definitely come here again. I saw many of their other dishes being served and they looked wonderful. This place is definitely doing things the right way.
I had a nice time here. It was spontaneous. The food was very good. The service and All workers is what pushed this to a 4 star. Everyone had a great attitude, was happy to have customers and did their job with a smile on their face. It's been a long time since I had a group of workers that were all happy. As soon as my drink needed a refill, the server was there like she had a secret camera. I ordered a burger. It was very good and cooked medium rare, as I ordered it. The burger was bigger than the bun. The fries were a little weak. They were soggy. I will come back.
I called on a busy Saturday night to make a last-minute reservation for a celebration the following day. Unfortunately, I had just been rudely scolded by the owner of another local restaurant for bothering them on such a hectic evening before St. Patrick's Day. I couldn’t believe it—why even answer the phone if you're not open to calls? As it turned out, my husband had already made a reservation at that place, which I didn’t know at the time. After that unpleasant conversation, I hung up, and my husband kindly called back to cancel. I wanted to spend my money somewhere more deserving. On the other hand, Jaden, the manager at Dimmick Inn, answered the phone with no problem and was incredibly kind, even on a busy Saturday night. He managed to secure my reservation, and even if he had to say no, he handled it gracefully. Our server, Sophia, was exceptional as well. I had the pleasure of meeting Jaden today (Sunday), thanking him for the wonderful experience we had. The restaurant was bustling due to the St. Patrick's Day parade, yet they maintained a smooth, fun, and welcoming vibe—truly impeccable service! This historic inn and fantastic restaurant, owned and operated by a family from Bay Ridge, Brooklyn (my hometown!), and Milford, PA, absolutely deserves your patronage. You will love it! Their success is well-deserved, and this is the kind of place where you can enjoy an amazing experience and witness the goodness in the world. This is how dining out is meant to be!
