What Aaliyah T doesn't like about Bibi's:
First impression: this restaurant smells like sewage. The service was good, especially since there was almost ten of us. The lengua tacos were good, however, most of us were not crazy for the cuisine. I did like that the drinks were served in small pitchers and the prices are fantastic. One star is a lot for this place, terrible service...The priceless menu...no class at all...I regret having spent $50 because she was inside and the hunger is weak...the only thing that killed her hunger was a Shrimp Costel and 3 tacos 2 sodas...in California I would have failed even as a bulldozer...class F...and the women came in there with very little self-esteem...that place is not for any decent woman...that's why I ate it and got out of there. as soon as possible... the envy of those women was very notable... that place is not for me...
No one spoke or understood English. I have a problem with my order and the girl pulled out her phone for me to talk to Google translate. When that didn't work she called her boss. OMG. It was crazy.? I said to myself ? how can you work or have a restaurant business in America and not speak English ?
I 'm wondering how this restaurant can get more than 2 stars. Who goes to a restaurant and gets a menu with no prices for food or drinks? I want to know how much I 'm paying for basic Mexican food with small portions. I think the waitress makes up the prices. Other reviews also had similar problems with the prices. The waitress we had gave us stale chips and the salsa was just thrown in the bowl and salsa was all over the bowl. We asked for fresh chips and salsa which she did make a face but did get them. When she brought our expensive order out we had to ask for utensils and napkins twice, because she only brought 1 for my husband, but not me. The tacos were small for almost $14 for 3 with no rice or beans. The Mixta ceviche was served on 3 tiny corn tostada with about 1 tablespoon of ceviche that tasted awful. Never again will we come back and for sure I 'd never recommend BIBI 'S to anyone. How they stay in business is beyond me. All I got to say is beware of the price gouging and bad service.
The menu had no prices. The service was terrible! The margaritas were watered down so much there was no taste of tequila. We never got what we ordered as an appetizer. Never got the sides on the menu. I have no idea how to describe the music videos that were playing, but they did not contribute to the atmosphere. Will never go back!!
