The staff is so crucial for a place, it can destroy all the experience and the impression like it happend in our case. I went to Riad with couple of my friends for drinks and shisha, it was my bday as well. My friend asked a waiter Abdel to make wishes and they did celebrate me BUT nobody warned us that they make it for payment. If certain service is charged, client should be aware of it. We were surprised by it and we aksed the waiter Abdel why. His response was discriminatory and disrespectful! I share his words: “Cant you allow to pay for bday wishes we made for you friend?” “I am not gonna talk to you!” It is such an inappropriate behavior with clients! We shared that with the hostess but she didnt event care! Afterwards we called the place to inform the responsable of that but they didnt want to give us the name of the responsable and neither tried to discuss. The lady on the phone was aggressive and she put down the phone. Have never seen in my life such behavior with clients! NEVER EVER AGAIN IN THAT PLACE AND ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMEND!
