Excellent Korean restaurant in the heart of Milan's Chinatown. The place is very small, but really cute and welcoming: one of those places that immediately makes you want to eat... and sit snugly next to your neighbor. The menu isn't extensive, but more than enough for a Korean-themed dinner. The best part is that you can cook the meat directly on the grill at your table, feeling like a chef for a night. We ordered the classic tteokbokki, several typical side dishes based on kimchi sauce, and a good variety of meats. The Korean cuisine is overall good, although not quite as good as authentic traditional Korean cuisine... but it's a good choice for a convivial evening. The only real, annoying issue is the ventilation: practically nonexistent. When everyone cooks together, the restaurant turns into a cloud of fried food worthy of an apocalyptic movie. You leave smelling of Korean grilled food from head to toe, even your hair. Unfortunately, since it's winter, they can't even open the door... unless you want to eat wrapped up in a duvet. Affordable prices, simple, friendly, and unpretentious staff. Recommended... perhaps avoiding any romantic dates immediately after.
This is a surprisingly delicious Korean BBQ place! The portions are generous and the food is delicious. You should definitely try it!
Wong's is a Chinese-run Korean barbecue restaurant. The environment is simple, a little bare, but that's what you expect from a place of this kind. The menu is extensive, the quantities are generous and the accompanying Korean dishes are good. Average prices. Cookingwiththehamster
Quiet place, delicious food with lots of choices, and very friendly staff. I'll be back :
My first experience at a Korean BBQ. The idea of being able to enjoy the ordered dishes on your own plate is very nice. Good selection of meat ordered and acceptable prices. What I didn't like is the experience I had in this restaurant starting from the service (unprofessional and not fluent in the Italian language) up to the small and poorly ventilated location.
