St... read more If you are at or near the Duomo and want a quick, cheap, satisfying and delicious meal, this walk-up sandwich place is the only place you need to know about. Starting at only €7/$7.50, you can get a 10” panino prepared to order from many dozens of choices. Your sandwich starts with fresh bread that is briefly toasted in an oven and then your sandwich is assembled by hand. Step up to the cashier, place your order, pay, step aside, and when your sandwich is ready your order number (located at the bottom of your receipt) will be called out in a few minutes, depending on how busy they are. You will likely have to wait in line as Cesarino is very popular, but the line moves along. There are some tables out front and some counter space inside.
