What moirah372 dislikes about Ole:
We were keen to try this restaurant as it had good reviews. The staff are lovely welcoming. However, the food was disappointing. I dislike the unasked for bread butter where you’re charged €1.50 a head. The starters were ok gratinated prawns croquettes but the main courses weren’t good. The swordfish seafood spaghetti weren’t really edible, the spaghetti bolognese was overly sweet herby the pork dishes were ok. The A... View all feedback.

A warm homely atmosphere with good food. Much used by local residents who are welcomed by the staff. At times the service is a little fast .

Regretfully list it’s appeal. Food average, customer service and waiter poor, not sincere. When asked about the calves liver which was full of sinus and blood vessel the response was to ignore it. This followed by a waitress accidentally tipping mint sauce down the back of one our groups new white top without a direct apology and without an attempt to lessen the anxiety caused to the guest ended with a harsh conversation from the proprietor , who we have visited perhaps a dozen times over a 30 year period ending with him telling us not to pay and don’t come back. Very unprofessional on this occasion and sadly we will not return. It only needed a sincere apology to private the issues

The Albariño was expensive by comparison with others we’ve had in the town. It was busy obviously has a loyal clientele, so maybe we just had an one off bad experience.

Wonderful find. Ate there twice on a 4 day break. Friendly and great food. Would recommend the swordfish and the Prawns Pil Pil

Came here recently and came back again in the new year! Had my favorite solomillo de cerdo and fried camenbert. Hubby had stroganoff and onion soup (yes, again), son had salmon. My pork was a little dry but tasty nonetheless. Everything else was good. Service is impeccable. Love the ambience. It's clear many patrons are regulars. A good testament to good food.
