The place is well located and it was newly established. The interior has a nice design and there is an option to seat outside. We ordered pulled pork, briskets, smoked sausage, corn and baked beans. Everything was nice in taste and for three persons it was more than enough. Beverages are well made, perhaps a bit more alcohol for the cocktails would be great. Service was fast and friendly. Finally when I walked over to the bar and pointed to the Bombay he relented. It was an excellent g t. I ordered a pork belly roll french fries with a glass of Calixa and a glass of water. The wine was excellent, the fries were excellent, the pulled pork was excellent; except I ordered PORK BELLY. I was too tired to fight them, had a glass of Merlot and an espresso which were good.
Service: just fine Ambience: fine Food: could not be worse. This was truly one of the worst meals I have had in recent memory (not just in CDMX, which by the way has really outstanding food elsewhere). We had 4 people and we got the Louisiana shrimp, the grilled salmon, a brisket taco, blooming onion, corn, pork pulled sandwich, and a strawberry milkshake. With the exception of the blooming onion, everything was remarkably terrible. Even the strawberry milkshake (not sure how you can mess that up) didn’t taste like a strawberry milkshake. Also, one of us had terrible food poisoning that evening and we think it was because he ate the salad under the grilled salmon. Do not come here if you enjoy good food and gastrointestinal health.
Porco rosso has been one of my family’s favorite restaurants while living in Mexico City. Since the pandemic, we often ordered take out from here. My kids love the elote (corn), mac n cheese, and pulled pork! My husband’s favorite is the brisket sandwich. The service is great too!
Amazing food. Place offers a variety of comfort food and its quite tasty and of great quality! I highly recommend for a date/friends night out!
We decided to try this as it looked great walking past ast time we was in the city. Was not disappointed food was very tasty great sized portions and fresh. Great value for money and great staff. As others have said get a few hawkers and beggars but there not aggressive and don’t linger just ask as they walk past if you wanna buy cigs/ tourist tat .. 10/10
