if you want authentic Spanish cuisine in Mexico City, this is the place to go. the fabada is great, the croquetas are one most and all the dishes are authentic homemade style. the prices are in order, the ambiente is not the best as it looks a bit...old, but it is worth it! View all feedback.
What Иммануил Третьякова doesn't like about La Finca Espanola:
Me considero un buen conocedor de la cocina española, y sin lugar a dudas en este sitio se han olvidado de lo que es... Creo que el chef debería ir a españa un par de meses a recordar lo que es la cocina española... Es impresionante de que manera bajan el listón de este tipo de comida. No esta mal si llevas 5 años fuera de españa y quieres recordar viejos tiempos.. Pero desde luego aun le falta bastante View all feedback.
The restaurant is down and shaded. we had to move in the insulation from the terrace because the exterior lighting didn't work. my dorado (mahi mahi) tasted fishy (so it was unacceptable in a city that has one of the largest fishing markets in the world) and was completely boring in presentation and taste. the steak of my wife came in three pieces, which was good, but each piece was cooked differently. this is an expensive restaurant that does not guarantee the prices. I guess it only survives because it is a popular hunting on Spanish expats.

I went to tripadvisor with my friend after reading great comments here. we were only for great eating without a very formal place. the atmosphere is great: beautiful, cool and not so austere. the service is also perfect: very friendly and. attentive waiter. they have a good choice of weeping, evew, if they have more different cavas (as it is a Spanish restaurant, and they had only one tip that they could choose between brut, demi brut or rosé, and that's all.) the only thing that really despised us was eating: it wasn't as good as we expected it should be. the appetizers were good: some mixed croquettes and baked garnels, really delicious. but we tried to order black rice with calamares and there were no calamares at all. we finally asked a thunfish with peper and some whispers that we did not have at all. I'd give them a second chance, but this time was definitely disgusting our expectations,
I am not sure why we even dare to walk in because the facade looked like an old house turn into a restaurant with little to no maintenance. However, I thought, well the place and ambiance might be below average and maybe the food is...delicious… I was so wrong. The owner kept the original structure of the house, so you feel like you are eating at your grandmas second floor home. Our room felt like it was the guest bedroom so tiny and so crowded. Our server was fast but had little to no time to recommend food…. He was busy doing something else. The food plating was so awful. It looked like someone with no culinary experience served our dishes and the food itself was average. I would even dare to say below average. I would never go back.
