On my last visit last visit last week I did enjoy the restaurant, however, I'm sad to see that Chef Benjamin is not there anymore as he created a wonderful menu and made guests feel special View all feedback.

We ate here on Christmas Eve this year and last year as well and had a delightful meal both times. We went with our kids (10-14) and ordered an assortment of tapas, iberico ham, fabada, tuna, tortillas espanola, merluza etc and it was all yummy. The service is very attentive, and the surroundings, especially the terrace is very welcoming. Highly recommend.
The chef, Benjamin, welcomed us. He said, what ever you want...but dont miss the pulpo(which was simply fabulous. Started with outstanding guac(in a country where guac is everywhere this was tops). The a local chicken and vegetable soup with great herbed flavors. On to two amazing tamales, then the pulpo...main course was a simply pan roasted piece of fresh snapper in garlic, parsley and?? Then came desserts...so many...3 different ice creams...coconut, hibiscus and ? Then the chocolates...OK, so it was an amazing experience. If you are ever in Mexico City and don't eat here, you have made on gigantic mistake.
Everything is amazing here, food, service and ambience. Right in the heart of Polanco, the chef goes above and beyond in every dish you ask for. You can't leave without trying Pulpo al tinto (wine octopus), this just might be the signature dish in this place or the double flavor fondant... You would want to lick the plate. The list of dishes I could give you, is a long one, you really just need to come and ask for what ever you would like to try, everything is incredibly good here.If for what ever reason you are not in the mood for what's on the menu, ask for the specials or call the chef (Chef Benjamin), he will prepare almost anything and it will still be deliciously great. It might be a bit expensive but you eat SO GOOD that it's totally worth every single peso.
Amazing food, Benjamin the chef is in my opinion one of the best in Mexico. He pampers you from the moment you come in and surprises you with a wonderful array of flavors.
