Very popular with locals and stunning views. Also by bus and five minutes walk! Well recommended and quite an extensive menu.

The waitresses were either young and inexperienced (tried items that were order... read more I was really disappointed at the service on the two occasions I had eaten there. The waitresses were either young and inexperienced (tried items that were ordered) or snore and irritated. My group were all German native speakers, so it was not a language barrier problem; they just made a terrible impression. The menu was usually overpriced for the quality and I would avoid the cheeses unless you are willing to risk an intestinal barrier. However, there is a jewel in the menu. The Kaiserschmarren is phenomenal, at least when I stacked against any restaurant or at home. They use this caramelization step that makes it really delicious. The other things I appreciate were the playground (good for children), the Alm (alpine Lodge) itself, and a pretty nice environment (although not difficult to find in West Austria).

After that we enjoyed lunch in the delicious Moosalm restaurant. The food was excellent and the staff was attentive and friendly. We came to lunch later this week and it was just as good. The Emperor Schmarrn was delicious to enable this, I had a smaller first course of Vienna's Schnitzel.
