We went to this restaurant during our days stay at Stams. First time we have tried to get there, there was an event (which probably required reservation) and we could not order anything. But we have decided to give a chance to the restaurant...and went back in another day. Everything was wonderful, the food, climate, staff was very friendly (we were even invited to a event there would happen there on other day, so sorry we were leaving Stams before it). I would highly recommend this restaurant when in Stams.
My partner and I visited this restaurant/bar to eat without a reservation. The bar was charmingly rustic. The only problem to ourselves being that it was (on that particular evening) quite smokey as we have found in many bars and restaurants in Austria and Germany,...smoking still being allowed in public places. The staff were friendly and very helpful though and found us a table in the no smoking area which is also the restaurant. The decor of which is lovely, airy and bright, with white table linen, though still intimate with private booths as well as central tables. We ordered the Pork Cordonbleu and a local dish of Three Cheese Noodles. Both were delicious. Generous portions of excellent quality food. We accompanied this with the red house wine which again was of a very high standard. A lovely evening in a great quality establishment. We would definitely recommend eating here.
The local would have a very nice terrace .but unfortunately not in a shot you could make nicer one was not so attentive eating came fast was very large portions wanted to drink yet the service was busy on the other side! the local would have a very good idea if you wanted .or a bit more time for the gast would have!!
Came here in sight' after setting up camp in the campsite up the road. The cafe/restaurant was well presentes internally and externally. The food was excellent, house wine delicious and ambience very pleasant. Thoroughly recommended.
