There's nothing wrong with the food in fact it's always tasty, but the overall experience just not quite worth the money. One of the main reason for losing one star is the wine. Heirloom features a long butuninspired wine list of mostly $65-$85 bottles of primarily California/new world style reds. This makes it hard to me to findpairings; Couple this with the higher than usual mark up, the bill at the end of the meal made me wonder if I should not havepicked Holly Hill. I do like the small plate menu they have implemented.

You can tell the wait staff and chefs take pride in the experience you get there. Will be coming back for dessert, as we were too full toindulge. Photo features the fried chicken with sawmill gravy and my partner got the fish and chips. Both delcious.

The food and service are both excellent. We had the cream of asparagus soup andspinach salad with warm bacon dressing to start. The salad was large enough to share and very good. Soup very good also. We hadthe ricotta dumplings and the fried chicken as entrees. Both were excellent, and arrived at the table hot and fresh. The onlydownside was the sound level it was very loud the night that we visited. Overall it's a winner.

I had the chicken an... read more We had a lovely dinner on the patio. My husband ordered the fillet and said it was cooked perfectly. The demi sauce was very good and rich. I had the chicken and it was delicious. We would definitely consider this restaurant again it we are back in the area
