The fried green tomatoes were not the same, and the meals were mediocre. It took forever—almost 30 minutes—to place our drink orders and receive them. The flies were unbearable, and I felt so embarrassed for having raved about your restaurant; it turned out to be a huge disappointment. We drove 30 minutes to get there, and I had hoped it would become my go-to spot, but after last night, I'm not so sure. Chad was apologetic, and it was clear that the situation was out of his control.

I ordered the poutine, and as someone who spends a lot of time in Canada and is a big fan of this dish, I was eager to give it a try. However, when it arrived, I was surprised to find it lacking gravy—what I received was simply a broth. It was nothing more than a watery liquid, far from what I'd expect as gravy. I'm not sure if this was a mistake or not, but it certainly doesn’t qualify as poutine. My fries became soggy and soaked, and the cheese curds didn’t melt at all since they never came into contact with anything hot. Traditionally, the gravy is poured over the curds to get them to melt, but here it just sat at the bottom of the bowl. It was really unappealing. I would have considered sending it back, but since we had a friend visiting from out of town, I didn’t want to cause a scene. If they can’t prepare poutine correctly, they really should think about taking it off the menu.
